Traditional residential projects rely on multi-tier distribution chains: retail showrooms, domestic distributors, and regional brokers. Each adds margin without adding the required control. The Atelier goes directly to the source.

Through manufacturing relationships across Italy, Portugal, Turkey, and China, we commission architectural glass, custom millwork, bespoke kitchens, carved stone, and lighting systems direct from their makers. The sourcing mandate covers specification, sampling, quality control, freight, customs, delivery, and installation coordination.

Long Tran.

Creative Director & Principal of Spatial Design

Long Tran oversees spatial design, material selection, and staging decisions for HOME BY SIMON. Formerly Creative Director at TVGla, directing campaigns for Paramount Pictures, WNBA, and feature films, and founder and seller of Yanko Design, Long brings two decades of visual storytelling and structural proportion to residential architecture.

Commissioned to design bespoke architectural tile for the prestigious Sofitel Beverly Hills renovation, Long's eye governs the tension between furniture and architecture, ensuring that every commissioned piece feels inevitable within its physical envelope.

Warm modernist bedroom at the Olive Way commission — Olive Way / Movie Colony / Active Commission

Simon Court secured the acquisition of the Olive Way property alongside its original Barcelona-engineered architectural plans. Recognizing the immense logistical complexity of executing a foreign modernist design locally, the buyers engaged HOME BY SIMON to direct the build from conception to handover.

The clients, award-winning New York interior designers from Methods of Assembly Studio (methodsofassemblystudio.com), possessed peerless design expertise. Yet, managing a multi-million-dollar compound build remotely required an on-the-ground partner with absolute manufacturing access.

The Atelier partnered directly with the architect on revised plans and municipal permitting, vetted all trade contractors, and procured every physical element direct from OEM factories: frameless architectural glass, custom solid stainless steel doors, carved red travertine bathing pieces, monolithic counter blocks with integral basins, architectural lighting, and a custom 14-foot solid stainless steel kitchen island.

For three current assignments, The Atelier and Campaign House are taking the property to hospitality-level readiness: furniture, drapery, lighting, accessories, linens, kitchenware, books, bar stock, pantry setup, and the considered details that allow a buyer to arrive with only their clothes. Seller-funded preparation can sit close to the cost of high-end staging while giving the campaign full control of the space, the imagery, and the experience of the sale.

01Stone as architecture

Carved red travertine tubs and monolithic counters become spatial objects, not bathroom fittings.

The commission covers red travertine bathing pieces, counter blocks with integral basins, slab surfaces, samples, fabrication review, freight, installation sequencing, and the junctions that make the material read as architecture.

02Metal & millwork systems

Bespoke kitchens, closets, laundry suites, stainless doors, and a custom solid-stainless island are designed as one connected language.

The Atelier directs the manufacturing brief from drawings and finishes through hardware, mock-ups, dimensional coordination, quality control, export packing, customs, delivery, and installation readiness.

03Glass & light systems

Frameless doors, windows, skylights, and layered architectural light are resolved at the same level as the envelope.

Direct factory coordination carries the system from performance specification and sample review through structural interfaces, controls, delivery, and calibrated installation with the construction team.

04Arrival-ready interiors

Furniture, drapery, objects, linens, books, kitchenware, bar stock, and pantry setup are directed as a complete first arrival.
